So Close, And Yet So Far

Jan. 14 SyracuseThen it's off to the Big East tournament in the Big Apple. Then after that? Maybe another trip to the NCAA Tournament, despite one of the most turbulant off-seasons in school history.

if they win six more games! are we being serious here? they don't have a guy taller than 6'8", they're playing in the Big East?! They might win 3 more games if they get lucky, and by lucky I mean, if they can pull one out over the Hoyas. Rutgers and Seton Hall they might get past, but that's about it.
Let us not forget that the bottom four teams in the Big East don't even make the conference tourney, so Madison Square garden is far from a lock.
I think the bottom has officially fallen out of the lunch bag, and with Andy Kennedy making comments about how he 'just needs warm bodies' to fill out his practices, and will be 'roaming campus looking for tall guys', you can officially count any postseason appearance, of any kind whatsoever, an accomplishment for this team.
